Pre-K (4 years to 5 years)

The pre-kindergarten child's goal is to be prepared for Kindergarten, our well planned PreK program does just that. We use the IL learning standards to plan and confirm that your child has will be introduced and has successfully master each standard. The environment is designed to encourage self exploration of learning material as well as the use of teacher guided activities to encourage more thoughtful lessons. Children can self guide themselves through the learning centers during the day. Concepts such as writing, reasoning skills, and social skills are all fine tuned to ensure success in kindergarten. Circle and sitting times are slowing lengthened to prepare for the kindergarten experience. THe PreK day is rounded out with 4 meals, breakfast, 2 snacks and lunch, as well as a nap. Please provide a change of clothes, and a blanket or cuddle toy for nap. We prefer that toys brought from home stay in your car for your child to complete their school day.
